I recently read your comment on the discussion board re: my dad's inquiry about Philadelphia Reiling's.
When I first moved to Annapolis, I discovered two Reiling's in the area: one in Baltimore, the other in Silver Spring. I called the gentleman in Baltimore. His name is Arthur (or Albert, I'm not sure). He was in his seventies and kept me on the phone for two hours telling me stories.
One of the stories was about when he was injured in WWII and his doctor was named Reiling also. He found is to be quite a coincidence. The patient was Jewish and the doctor was Catholic. In fact, the patient was so happy with the service that he went to Mass with the doctor.
That doctor must have been your dad.
