It's finally my turn to get on the computer! Vic is out of town. I can see from all the messages I should have joined all of you a long time ago. Thank God for Teresa and Jill who keep me abreast of the need-to-knows!
Our very best news right now is the birth of our first grandchild: CAROLINE CHAMBLISS NORTON. She is the daughter of our son Casey and his wife Jen. I just had the thrill of spending six days holding Caroline--literally, How times change! When mine were two weeks old, I prayed they go to sleep so I could get something. Now I can spend every hour just watching her.
All of us are doing well. School started August 12 at Klein Forest High School where I am Associate Principal. We have over 3200 students. I am also a professor at Univ. of St. Thomas. I teach graduate classes in Education--I can here a few Julienne nuns rolling over now!
Vic is working for Baker Hughes Processing. The company has changed over the years and Vic has come and gone with them, but he is about to celebrate 25 years and is looking forward to seeing some guys he worked with back in the 70's.
Chris is working for Neiman Marcuas--'sorry, I don't get a discount either.
Casey (when he isn't trying to catch some zzz's) is sports reporter for CBS in Memphis. If you have an anchor job some place, let him know. His wife Jen is a producer at the same station so they will be able to swap hours to take care of Caroline.
Andy graduated from Texas A&M in May and is working for Andersen Consulting. He is living and Dallas and travelling around for business--tyring to find his niche.
I see Jill is going to have to give me a tally sheet for all of the Reilings I don't know.
At any rate, welcome, y'all, and nice to hear from you again!
Jan
