Eileen is acting as my secretary for me. Celia and I enjoyed reading the messages from everyone. My grand daughter Jennifer is working at the Charlestown Naval Yard in Boston, where I once had dinner with my mother and dad. On leaving, a wave officer jumped ahead to hold the door while we were leaving. Mother's remark was "What are you going to do when the war is over?" Aunt Mary and I went to the fridgerdare factory to pick up quick lime to paint our trees. As a baby during prohibition, a man reported that the Reiling's had liquor in the house. My mother then put the liquour in my baby buggy, and had Aunt Mary walk for three hours in case they came to search the house. In college, Jack and I were professional pallbearers. We got $2.oo for a"drop", or $5.00 for a catholic one, because we had to go to mass. More stories to come. Your turn Margie and Edy. Love Uncle Tom
