Paula Reiling Schmida is departing for Bishkek Kyrzakistan on the 13th. Her son Stephen is going through a marriage ceremony in his wife's hometown, they were married in the States over a year ago. In Bishkek there are know traditional Lodgings so you stay at private homes. As some of you might know Stephan is a bit of a russophile having lived in Russia on and off for over 3 years. Paula is travelling with her daughter Tara and Dave and her son David will meet them in Almaty Kazakistan for an overland trip to Bishkek. Stephan's wife, Nesghoul(sp) is delightfull, very western and and fluent in english. I am going to visit Paula in late August and look forward to her report of travelling in one of the most remote parts of the world. Bob
