Wow! The tree really got me into the Christmas spirit!
You know, since it's 80 degrees here, it never does quite feel like those chesnuts are roasting on an open fire!
I must tell you that many of my best Christmases were the "family get togethers!" One that will always remain with me is the time we all loaded on to a bus
(and I do mean "loaded" for the adults in the crowd)
and went to Aunt Mary and Uncle Ed's.
Great time! It was snowy. We played. We ate. We drank (non-alcholic for usin's). And...we all got cherries from Uncle Ed. (okay Aunt Mary, you know we're talking the "green cherries" for us kids) I have never understood those green guys.
Anyways (that's an inside-ongoing joke with Aunt Mary)
all those times were THE BEST!!!
